I started in line at Porto's at about 6:20am. By 6:28 there were about 40 people waiting. Crazy, but worth it. I tried the blended dulce de leche latte. It was sooo much better than anything I have ever had at Starbucks. It made me SUPER hyper. The kids thought I was high. I was so happy it was Friday but I was cold so I put on the "hat" that a student made me yesterday and then I put on a "cape". Yup, I looked a bit odd. Oh well.
Then I went to the CIF Master's Meet to watch 2 students qualify for the state meet in the 1600m. They both finished in under 4:16. It was a nerve-wracking last lap. They ran it in about 60 seconds. Nuts.
Then I went back to Orange County to meet a baby! My friends had their second daughter tonight and she is precious.
I've done a load of laundry and I am actually ready for some sleep. Yay for the weekend!
